JOB PURPOSE: SolidWorks Designer to perform detailed structural design of manufacturing systems. EDUCATION/TRAINING: BS in Engineering is a plus, not required JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Expert knowledge/understanding of SolidWorks. Design of structural layout for manufacturing systems. Design of assemblies, sheetmetal, structural frames, and weldments. Knowledge of automated manufacturing lines is a plus. Experience with machine layout is a plus. External panel and frame design. Knowledge of GD&T.
