Senior BIM | VDC Designer (Revit & Plant 3D Expert) About the Role General Matter is seeking a Senior BIM Lead / VDC Manager to spearhead our digital construction and high-fidelity modeling efforts for a first-of-its-kind nuclear enrichment facility. This is a highly technical, hands-on leadership role. We are not looking for a passive coordinator; we need a “player-coach” who is as comfortable building complex, parametric Revit families and routing process piping in Plant 3D as they are leading a coordination meeting. You will be the primary architect of our virtual construction environment, bridging the gap between high-level engineering intent and the granular, “bolts-and-welds” requirements of industrial contractors. You will own the model, ensuring that millions of square feet of complex infrastructure are conflict-free, data-rich, and ready for fabrication. Responsibilities Execute Hands-on Modeling: Actively build and maintain high-LOD models (350-400) for complex structural and mechanical systems; this role requires being "in the weeds" of the model daily.
