Read architectural plans and understand the visual representation. Drafting complete plan sets using AutoCAD. Capacity to research, read, understand and implement code requirements to ensure approval from various building review agencies throughout the United States. Develop production drawings with an assortment of parts to submit for in-house manufacturing as well as outside vendors. The personality to take constructive feedback from coworkers, contractors, vendors and customers. Must be coachable AutoCAD Technician Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) It is critical that AutoCAD Tech has: A minimum higher education of two years in Architecture, Structural Engineering or similar Engineering Fields. Minimum of 5 years as AutoCAD technician in architectural or structural environment. Other Qualifications: Knowledge of Microsoft software such as Excel, Outlook Preferred some experience with 3d modeling software such as Inventor Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is re
